ScienceSim Calendar

  • Next Up: Inaugural “Think Parallel” Blogcast Tuesday April 21st at 10:00-10:30 AM PST at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/TeachParallel and in-world
  • We have three talks for our lecture series ready to schedule

Art show in ScienceSim

Tuning number of avatars

  • After helping stabilize large numbers of prims, Mic is turning to stabilizing large number of avatars
  • The art show should not be directly part of that tuning; I suggested that Charlie's and my students might be able to help
  • Mic had the good idea of having a movie night with these students, starting with an early Jack Nicholson movie and a biological named Audrey 2.

ScienceSim Stability

  • Mic has reported Intel internal NAT problems in successfully relaying UDP packets both directions. This could easily happen with other ScienceSim users
  • It highlights we are still in early stages of this effort where many good additions are being made to OpenSim with the difficulty of he integration of all the features successfully integrating together.
                                             ... Tom Murphy
